Why Aluminium PCBs Are Essential for LED Lighting
LEDs convert most of their input power into heat. If that heat is not removed, light output drops and lifespan collapses. Aluminium PCBs solve this at the board level.
How metal-core boards work
A metal-core PCB places a thermally conductive dielectric between the copper circuit and an aluminium base. Heat flows from the LED, through the dielectric, into the aluminium, and out to the housing.
